Iran’s feature film ‘Weightlessness’ to vie in US

Iran’s feature ‘Weightlessness’ has been set to vie at the North Carolina Film Award in the US.

Written and directed by Mehdi Fard-Qaderi, ‘Weightlessness’ is a feminine story.

The main events of the film take place on a wedding night and its storyline focuses on the relationship among various women.

The film is starring Amir-Ali Danaee, Bahareh Kian-Afshar, Nasim Adabi and Tina Pakravan.

‘Weightlessness’ attended several international festivals and is set to be screened at the 12th Sofia Menar Film Festival in Bulgaria later this month.

The North Carolina Film Awards aims to strengthen the independent film, television and video industry, according to the event’s website.

North Carolina is one of the top movie and television producers in the US.
